As part of our commitment to supporting Tire Product Certification for the Indonesian market, PT Snicon Multipro Indonesia recently conducted a factory visit for one of our valued clients.
The factory visit was carried out to evaluate the manufacturing process, production facilities, quality management system, and supporting technical documentation required for tire certification in Indonesia. The assessment also verified the manufacturer’s capability to consistently produce tires that comply with the applicable Indonesian National Standards (SNI).
Indonesia has implemented mandatory SNI requirements for tires under Minister of Industry Regulation (Permenperin) No. 9 of 2025 concerning the Mandatory Implementation of Indonesian National Standards (SNI) for Tires. The regulation covers various categories of tires, including passenger car tires, light truck tires, truck and bus tires, motorcycle tires, and inner tubes for motor vehicles. The applicable SNI standards include SNI 98:2019, SNI 99:2019, SNI 100:2019, SNI 101:2019, and SNI 6700:2012, depending on the product category.
Our valued client entrusted PT Snicon Multipro Indonesia to manage the entire certification process—from document preparation, regulatory compliance, and factory assessment to coordination with the appointed certification bodies and the issuance of the SPPT SNI (Product Certificate for the Use of the SNI Mark) required for legal distribution in the Indonesian market.
To protect the confidentiality of our clients and project partners, company names, product information, and specific project details are not disclosed.
